gold-fern-wall-art-tall-cream-gold-canvas
Gold Fern Wall Art – Oversized Tall Cream and Gold Textured Look Canvas for Entryway and Bedroom

A single fern frond runs almost the full height of the canvas, built up in gold so every leaflet catches the light along its own edge. The stem rises from the bottom corner and arches slightly as it climbs. Behind it the ground is cream plaster, cracked and lifting in plates, like something pressed and then left to dry.

It is the only tall piece in the range, and that is the point. Narrow vertical walls are the hardest ones to fill — the strip beside a doorway, the space between two windows, the wall above a console in a hallway. All of them defeat a square or a wide canvas, and all of them suit this.

The gold does its work in low light, which is why we photographed it in a terracotta hallway and a navy study as well as a sage bedroom, a cream dining room and a bright coastal living room. In the two dark rooms it is the only thing on the wall that is lit.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

Being tall and narrow, it goes where nothing else will — beside a door, between two windows, or above a console in a hallway, where a square piece would crowd the wall and a wide one would not fit at all.

Product Features:

Museum-grade cotton canvas, printed with fade-resistant pigment ink

Stretched over a 1.5″ solid wood frame, arrives ready to hang with hardware fitted

Three tall sizes: 24″ x 40″, 30″ x 50″ and 36″ x 60″

Shown in the optional floating frame, available as an upgrade on this page

Made to order — nothing sits folded in a warehouse

Optional hand-embellished or fully hand-painted finishes for real, raised texture

Free shipping, 30-day money-back guarantee and a 10-year colour guarantee
