Hydrangea Wall Art

Heads of hydrangea crowd the whole canvas: powder blue on one side, cream and bone through the middle, each floret built up petal by petal. Sage and pewter leaves fall behind them, and fine gold runs along the leaf edges and between the petals, catching the light without ever tipping into glitter.

Hydrangeas read as both classic and current, so this piece is not fussy about the room it lands in. We have photographed it in an English country cottage, a modern barn house, a Parisian apartment and a moody navy library.
