The most common thing our customers tell us is that they wish they had gone one size larger. Here is how to be sure before you order.
The two-thirds rule
Artwork looks right when it is about two-thirds the width of the furniture underneath it. A standard three-seat sofa is 84 inches wide, so a canvas around 48 to 60 inches wide will sit well above it. Anything under 36 inches will look lost on that wall.

How high to hang it
The centre at 57 to 60 inches from the floorThis is standard gallery height, and it suits most rooms because it puts the middle of the piece at eye level for someone standing.
Six to eight inches above furnitureLeave that gap between the top of your sofa or headboard and the bottom of the canvas, so the two read as one arrangement rather than two separate things.
