Beige and Gold Wall Art – Oversized Minimalist Sand Dune Textured Look Canvas for Bedroom and Living Room

One dune, one line. The ridge rises from the left, crests in the middle and falls away to the right, and the whole of it is traced in a thin seam of gold where the sun would be hitting the sand. Everything else is cream and warm sand worked in flat, raked plaster — no detail, no horizon, nothing to read.

This is the quietest piece in the collection and probably the most useful. In a bedroom it does not compete with anything; in an open-plan room it gives the eye somewhere to rest. If the rest of the house is busy, this is the wall where nothing happens.

We photographed it in a living room, an entryway, a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom — then in bedrooms painted warm greige, deep emerald, blush rose, midnight navy and chocolate mocha. The close-up shows how shallow and deliberate the relief is.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

It is a landscape piece, which is the shape that actually works above a sofa, a bed or a long console — wide enough to hold the wall without overhanging the furniture beneath it.
