Mauve Peony Wall Art – Oversized Panoramic Dusty Rose and Cream Textured Look Canvas for Living Room

The same flower in a darker key. Cream peonies open at the centre of the canvas with dusty mauve and plum blooms crowding in from both sides, and the ground behind them has been worked down to a deep mottled bronze so the pale petals seem lit from the front.

This is the version for a room that is already warm. Against panelling, a deep wall colour or dark wood it holds its own, where a pale floral would simply disappear. Gold runs through the leaves and the background, which is what stops the dark half of the painting going flat.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

It is a 2:1 panoramic, the shape made for the long wall — above a sofa, a sideboard or a bed, where a square piece leaves dead space at either end.
