Gold Butterfly Wall Art – Oversized Rising Butterflies Textured Look Canvas for Bedroom

A drift of butterflies rising diagonally across the canvas, each one worked in raised gold so the wings catch light from different angles, scaling from small and scattered at the lower left to large and fully open at the top right. Behind them the ground is a soft plaster of cream, pale sage and the faintest blush.

The movement is what makes it. Rather than a single specimen pinned in the centre, the swarm gives the eye a direction to follow, so the piece reads as motion rather than as a study — which is why it works over a bed or a sofa where something static would feel heavy.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

Being square, it centres cleanly above a bed, a sofa, a console or a mantel where a wide piece would overhang the furniture beneath it.
