Eucalyptus Wall Art – Oversized Sage Green and Gold Textured Look Canvas for Living Room

A eucalyptus branch runs the full width, its round leaves overlapping in sage, grey-green and olive, each one carved with its own ridge so the light finds a different edge on every leaf. Gold is laid into the cream plaster behind in broad torn sheets, so the branch appears to be lying across metal rather than paper.

Eucalyptus is the most over-printed plant in interiors, and most of it is a thin watercolour sprig floating on white. This one is the opposite: the leaves have weight, the gold is structural rather than decorative, and the whole thing holds a wall at 60 inches instead of disappearing into it.

It is the calmest piece in the range and the easiest to live with — sage and gold against cream asks nothing of the room around it. We have photographed it in a Japandi living room, a spa bathroom, a quiet-luxury dining room, a warm minimal bedroom and an organic entryway.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.
