Luxury Cream and Sage Abstract Wall Art – Oversized Gold Leaf Textured Look Canvas for Living Room

A wide sweep of pale plaster curves across the canvas in cream, bone and warm sand, cut by a single band of deep olive and a run of gold leaf that follows the curve like a seam through stone. The surface is built up in ridges and troughs rather than painted flat, so the light moves across it differently through the day.

The palette is doing the work here. It is a neutral piece with exactly two accents — olive and gold — which is why it settles into a room instead of taking it over. It belongs with travertine, pale oak, bouclé and unbleached linen, and the olive gives it somewhere to meet greenery, whether that is an olive tree in the corner or a bowl of eucalyptus on the table.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

Being square, it centres cleanly above a sideboard, a bed or a console where a wide piece would overhang the furniture beneath it, and it is equally happy leaned rather than hung. We have photographed it above a dining sideboard, in a primary bedroom, along an entryway console, and leaning beside a sofa so you can see the depth of the surface up close.
