Malachite Wall Art – Oversized Emerald Green and Gold Stone Slice Textured Look Canvas for Living Room

A single slice of malachite, cut through to show its rings — bands of deep emerald, jade and mint rippling out from the centre, edged in a thick, broken rim of gold leaf. It sits on a near-black ground with a fine plaster grain, so the green glows rather than shouts.

Malachite has been a sign of a finished room for three hundred years, from Russian palaces to Parisian apartments. Here it does the same job in one move: one rich colour, one metal, and a shape that reads from across the room.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

Being square, it centres cleanly above a sofa, a console, a sideboard or a bed. We have photographed it with a cream bouclé sofa, in a black and marble dining room, above an emerald velvet bed and in a bright white entryway.
