Peacock Wall Art – Oversized Emerald Green and Gold Feather Textured Look Canvas for Living Room

One peacock feather, painted at a scale it was never meant to be seen at. The eye sits slightly above centre in cobalt and bronze, and the barbs fan out from it in emerald, teal and gold, thinning to single hairs at the edges. Behind it the ground is deep green-black, scraped and gilded in patches so the feather appears lit from within.

This is the darkest piece in the collection and it is meant to be. It does not brighten a room — it deepens one, which is why it belongs on a moody wall, in a study or a panelled dining room, rather than fighting a sunlit space.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

Being tall and narrow, it fits where a wide piece cannot — beside a doorway, up a stairwell, on a chimney breast, or on the short wall at the end of a hallway.
