Hydrangea Heart Wall Art – Oversized Blue and Pink Pastel Floral Textured Look Canvas for Living Room

A heart built entirely out of hydrangea heads — cornflower blue, blush pink, lavender and cream, with pale chartreuse blooms worked in at the edges and deep green leaves pushed through the gaps. It sits on a soft plaster ground finished with fine crazing, so the background reads as an old wall rather than flat paint.

The shape only resolves from a few feet back. Close up it is a mass of individual florets; from across the room it reads unmistakably as a heart. That is what keeps it from feeling sentimental — nothing is outlined, nothing is symmetrical, and the heart is implied by where the flowers stop rather than drawn.

It is a natural anniversary, wedding or housewarming piece for the same reason, without announcing itself as one.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

Being square, it centres cleanly above a bed, a sofa, a console or a mantel where a wide piece would overhang the furniture beneath it.
