Teal and Gold Wall Art – Oversized Coral Reef Textured Look Canvas for Living Room and Bathroom

Deep turquoise water sits across the top of the canvas, and below it a reef opens out — branching coral, fans and brain coral, most of it rendered in gold leaf against the blue. The build-up is heaviest in the coral itself, so the branches stand clear of the water behind them and throw shadows back onto it.

It is the one piece in this batch with real colour in it, and that is the point: in a room of greys and creams it is the single thing that makes the scheme deliberate rather than cautious. The blue is deep enough to sit beside navy upholstery without clashing.

We photographed it in a living room, an entryway, a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom — where the turquoise does something no neutral can — then in bedrooms painted warm greige, deep emerald, blush rose, midnight navy and chocolate mocha. The close-up shows the gold on the coral branches.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

It is a landscape piece, which is the shape that actually works above a sofa, a bed or a long console — wide enough to hold the wall without overhanging the furniture beneath it. The 60″ x 30″ is a true 2:1 panoramic, for a long wall where even a wide landscape leaves dead space at either end.

The two-panel set is the same reef split across a pair of 30″ x 60″ portrait canvases, hung side by side with a small gap. Together they cover about five feet of wall and carry more height than any single size here — the option for a tall room, or a wall above a large sectional.
