Dandelion Wall Art – Oversized Cream and Gold Textured Look Canvas for Living Room and Bedroom

A single dandelion clock stands at the centre, its seed head built up in fine gold filaments that catch the light along every spoke, with a dozen seeds breaking away to the right and drifting off the edge. The ground behind it is cream plaster, cracked and lifting, so the gold has something rough to sit against.

Dandelion art is usually a photograph against a blur, or a thin line drawing. This is neither. The seed head is built out of the surface rather than printed onto it, which is why the spokes keep catching light as you move past it, and why the whole thing reads as an object rather than a picture.

The cream base makes it one of the easiest pieces here to place. We have photographed it against blush, emerald, cream, charcoal and coastal blue walls, and it holds all five — the gold simply picks up whatever warm light is already in the room.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

Being square, it centres cleanly above a sofa, a bed, a console or a mantel where a wide piece would overhang the furniture beneath it.
