Gold Pampas Grass Wall Art – Oversized Cream and Gold Plumes Textured Look Canvas for Living Room

Pampas plumes standing in a loose row, worked in cream and oat with gold leaf laid through the seed heads so the tops read as metal and the stems stay soft. The ground is a warm plaster, textured and left largely bare, with the light falling from the upper left.

This is the quietest piece in the collection and the easiest to live with. It carries no strong colour at all, which means it sits in a neutral room as texture rather than as a picture — and the gold keeps it from going flat the way beige-on-beige art usually does.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

Being square, it centres cleanly above a bed, a sofa, a console or a mantel where a wide piece would overhang the furniture beneath it.
