Minimalist Wall Art – Oversized Cream and Gold Plaster Arch Textured Look Canvas for Living Room

An arch drawn in raised plaster — cream over sand, the surface troweled, cracked and left rough at the base where it darkens to raw clay. A single fine gold seam traces the arch and runs down both sides to the bottom edge, and that is the only colour in the piece.

There is almost nothing here, which is the point. It works as the quiet wall in a room that already has pattern elsewhere, and it reads as texture and shadow rather than as a picture of anything.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface. On a piece this quiet, that difference is the whole character — it is the one in the collection most worth feeling in person.

Being tall and narrow, it fits where a wide piece cannot — beside a doorway, up a stairwell, on a chimney breast, or on the short wall at the end of a hallway.
