Minimalist Arch Wall Art – Oversized Cream and Sand Textured Look Canvas for Bedroom and Living Room

Concentric arches rise across the canvas in cream, chalk and warm sand, built up like old lime plaster and cracked fine across the surface. There is no subject and no colour to speak of — the whole piece is made of light falling across raised and recessed bands, so it changes quietly from morning to evening and never asks for attention.

This is the calmest piece in the range. It belongs with travertine, pale oak, bouclé, jute and unbleached linen, and it is the safe answer for a big empty wall in a room you actually relax in. We have photographed it above a bed, along an entryway console, over a kitchen island and leaned on the floor beside a fireplace — the same piece, four rooms, no adjustment needed.

A note on the finish, so there are no surprises. The standard canvas is a printed reproduction with a sculpted, textured look — the surface itself is smooth. If you want texture you can actually feel, choose Hand Painted Textured Original on this page and an artist builds the piece by hand in oil on linen, with real raised paint. Hand Embellished sits between the two: real oil worked over the print by hand, so the brushwork stands slightly proud of the surface.

At twice as wide as it is tall, it follows the horizontal line of whatever sits beneath it instead of fighting it — above a bed, over a sofa, along a hallway or behind a run of cabinetry.
